Directions to our Magenta Shores accommodation

From Sydney (60 minutes from the start of the M1 Pacific Motorway)
Enter the M1 Pacific Motorway from the Pacific Highway and travel north towards the Central Coast for approximately 40 to 45 minutes.

  • Turn off at the first Wyong Exit at the top of the ramp.
  • Turn right and head over the freeway.
  • Go past Westfield Tuggerah.
  • You are now on Wyong Road.
  • Continue straight, going through many round-a-bouts (approx 17).
  • Continue until the second street after Diggers Club.
  • Take the left hand turn (the entrance bypass) and continue on until there is a sign to Toukley.
  • Turn right into Coral Street. It is the second-to-last street before the water.
  • Turn left at the round-a-bout and proceed over the bridge to North Entrance (Toukley).
  • Continue approximately four kilometres and turn right (at the top of the hill) into the Magenta Shores site.
  • Proceed through the round-a-bout and park.

From Sydney or Newcastle from the M1 Pacific Motorway (60 minutes from the start of the M1 Pacific Motorway)

  • Turn off the M1 Pacific Motorway at the Toukley exit.
  • Turn right at the top of the ramp (takes you over the M1 Pacific Motorway).
  • You are now on Sparks Road.
  • Continue straight for approximately twelve kilometres along Sparks Road, straight through the large round-a-bout along Wallarah Road and Main Road.
  • Turn right at the round-a-bout at the end of Main Road (signposted ‘The Entrance’).
  • You are now on the Central Coast Highway (Wilfred Barrett Drive).
  • Continue straight for approximately four kilometres and the Magenta Shores site will appear on your left.
  • Turn left (at the top of the hill) into the Magenta Shores site.
  • Proceed through the round-a-bout and park.

From Newcastle

Option 1: Newcastle CBD via the Pacific Highway to Magenta Shores

  • Head north on Perkins St towards Hunter St.
  • Turn left onto Hunter St.
  • Turn left onto Pacific Highway/Stewart Avenue/State Route 124. Continue to follow Pacific Hwy.
  • Take the State Route 111/Pacific Highway ramp to Belmont/Sydney.
  • Merge onto Pacific Hwy/State Route 111.
  • Continue to follow State Route 111. Go through one round-a-bout.
  • Turn left onto Elizabeth Bay Drive/Tourist Drive 3.
  • Continue to follow Tourist Drive 3.
  • Go through four round-a-bouts.
  • Turn left onto Magenta Drive Go through one round-a-bout.
  • At the round-a-bout, take the fourth exit and stay on Magenta Drive. Your destination will be on the left.

Option 2: Exit on the M1 Pacific Motorway coming from Newcastle

  • Head south-west on Pacific Highway towards Exit Palmers Road,
  • Take the exit towards Wyong/Toukley,
  • Merge onto Sparks Rd/Tourist Drive 3,
  • Continue to follow Tourist Drive 3. Go through three round-a-bouts.
  • At the round-a-bout, take the third exit onto Wilfred Barrett. Drive/Tourist Drive 2/Tourist Drive 3.
  • Turn left onto Magenta Drive Go through one round-a-bout.
  • At the round-a-bout, take the fourth exit and stay on Magenta Drive.
  • Your destination will be on the left.
